Doomsday

Some of the world’s most serious thinkers fear that our time here may be more limited than we’d like to imagine. No less a luminary than Dr. Stephen Hawking, arguably the world’s greatest living scientist (Dr. Hawking holds the chair at Cambridge University in England once held by a fellow named Isaac Newton), has warned about the demise of life on earth. For Dr. Hawking, global warming is our biggest threat.

Meeting with college students in Asia, Dr. Hawking said that unless things change (and he’s not optimistic that they will), the earth “might end up like Venus, at 250 degrees centigrade and raining sulphuric acid.” A 250-degree-centigrade world raining sulphuric acid is not going to sustain human life (the only beings that might survive are cockroaches).

In fact, Dr. Hawking said that things are so bad, our only hope is to get off the planet. That is, we need to colonize space, because this old earth just isn’t going to make it much longer. “Life on Earth,” he said, “is at the ever-increasing risk of being wiped out by a disaster such as sudden global warming, nuclear war, a genetically engineered virus or other dangers. . . . I think the human race has no future if it doesn’t go into space.”

Here are five possible scenarios for the end of the world :
1. Asteroids
2. Climate disaster
3. Nuclear war
4. Plague
5. CERN

Economic growth is the biggest destroyer of the ecology. Those people who think you can have a growing economy and a healthy environment are wrong. If we don’t reduce our numbers, nature will do it for us … Everything is worse and we’re still doing the same things. Because ecosystems are so resilient, they don’t exact immediate punishment on the stupid.

FLOODS, fire, famine. The collapse of industrial civilisation. The end of the world as we know it.
Scientists predict a global catastrophe in the next 30 years if we don’t change our ways now
With the world’s population set to hit nine billion by 2050, demands on the Earth to meet food and water supplies could be stretched so tightly humankind will implode on itself; causing civil wars, relentless terrorism and heightened weather events that will leave the world in tatters.

The fifteen signs are shown over fifteen days, though in many different varieties. According to the Welsh prose version:

01. The earth’s waters rise above the mountains
02. The waters sink so low they cannot be seen anymore
03. The waters return to their original position
04. All sea animals gather on the surface and below unintelligibly
05. The waters burn from east to west
06. Plants and trees fill with dew and blood
07. All buildings are destroyed
08. The stones fight each other
09. Great earthquakes occur
10. All mountains and valleys are leveled to a plain
11. Men come out from their hiding places but can no longer understand each other
12. The stars and constellations fall out of the sky
13. The bones of the dead come out of their graves
14. Part of humankind die, the earth burns
15. Judgment Day

Anyway, those all are only predictions.. humankind can only predict and plan how to survive.

There’s a saying, what we harvest is what we seeded

live with good heart, your reward will be good
live maliciously bad, your own karma will be bad

Agree or disagree?!
Whatever!
