‘God particle’

The nickname “God particle” is given to what the scientists are trying to do at CERN.

According to people who have investigated the subject, the term “God particle” originated with a 1993 book by U.S. Nobel Prize winner Leon Lederman about the history of particle physics, The God Particle: If the Universe Is the Answer, What Is the Question?.

The research at CERN, the spokeman of CERN said is so important to their undestanding of nature.

The scientists (physicists) who are doing research at CERN were not thinking about the God as the creator of all, however, but about natural laws that cause particles to be organized and exhibit mass. Yet, none of scientists can explain where such natural laws originated.

It’s legitimate to try and understand how mass, space, and time originated, but not if the processes that use to explain their origin don’t involve the Creator.
The search for the “God particle” is an attempt to understand the Big Bang theory more fully. The Big Bang says that the universe began as an infinitesimal point and expanded outward, creating space and mass billions of years ago. Somehow, the theory is also presented as a natural event that didn’t require God’s involvement.

Many scientists have full confidence in the Big Bang theory and its billions of years, but they admitted to one major problem, they couldn’t understand where the laws of nature came from. Their view of origins depended upon the laws of nature being present first. Yet they had no explanation for their origin because many scientists didn’t believe in God. Scripture provides the reason why scientists had this problem: “..without faith it is impossible to please God as the Creator of all, for any human that cometh to God must believe that God is the Lord of all, and that God shall give a reward to them who diligently seek for God the Creator.” (free translation of Hebrews 11:6).

Sadly, scientists who have the best seat in the house to observe God’s handiwork through a microscope or a telescope often seem to be the first to deny that God is the Creator. Because they deny God is Creator, they fail to grasp the ultimate explanation for the world around us.

Human’s ability to understand the Universe, even with the most intelligent minds, is indeed quite limited. Frank Wilczek, a theoretical physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who won the Nobel Prize for helping to formulate QCD, said of the exotic particles:
“We supposedly have a theory that tells us how these particles are supposed to behave and in principle it should open new doors. But in practice, our ability to calculate is quite limited.”

Do not try to understand the Creation without believing in God as the Creator!

God doesn’t mind, or even waits humankind who are blessed with extra knowledge and intelligence to understand and to admire the Creation. That’s why God gives us brain to develop technology science. Yet, to exclude God’s involvement in understanding the Creation, that’s absurd, hilarious and overly pride over their small brain! Our mind is limited to understand God’s Creation without Creator’s help!

Scientists (physicists) are people who are blessed with extra knowledge and intelligence, they research things that I don’t quite understand and when they share their knowledge, then I understand. So, thanks to the scientists! The more I dig things related to God and the Creation, the more I can say ‘How great art Thou’

Somehow, yes sadly, many of them exclude God’s involvement in their research and it could bring a disaster to all humankind.
